Acting US Attorney for DC Channing D. PhillipsOn May 29, the Justice Department nominated Channing D. Phillips as the acting US Attorney for DC. He's in charge of all prosecutions in DC. From the USAO site : "We enforce the criminal laws of the United States and the District of Columbia and, thus, serve as both the federal prosecutor and the local District Attorney here in Washington, D.C."
